The Harvest Christian Academy Eagles took all four top rankings during the fifth week of the IIAAG High School Bowling League against the St. Paul Christian School Warriors their record to four wins with one loss and maintain second place in the standings. Paulina Yoon led the Eagles’ attack followed by Patricia Deal, Denise Garcia, and Rebecca Xu for the sweep. Xerya Anderson was the top bowler for the Warriors.
The Guam Adventist Academy Angels picked up their first win of the season winning the tri-school meet against Guahan Academy Charter School Stars and St. John’s School Knights. Star’s Ella Cruz took top honors in the meet, but the Angels were able to place their top four bowlers in consecutive order from second to fifth place. The winning team was led by Jasmin Lee followed by Aly Taimanglo, Ellin Losongco, and Sky Perja. Both Stars and Knights settled for a draw in the contest finishing with 37 points apiece. The Knights were led by Ava Ouhadi who finished in seventh place overall.
The Cougars continued their undefeated streak beating an undermanned Islander squad. Eriana Ada led the overall contest with 348 pins bowling her highest game of the season with a 191. Alexis Leon Guerrero and Frencine Cabuhat finished second and third as the Islander’s Juliana Lagman grabbed the fourth spot.
The competition continues on Thursday with the boy’s team on tap at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
