The SIFA Charter School Stringray boys team took the top four slots against Guahan Academy Charter School Stars in the IIAAG Middle School Bowling League at the Central Lanes Bowling Center to remain as the only undefeated team after three weeks of competition. SIFA was led by Billy Rey Donor with teammate Raitano West two sticks behind in second. Ryujan Cevera and Calel Agahan closed out the top four players for SIFA as Leonides Toves finished fifth overall as the leader of the Stars.

The Stingrays will meet the St. Anthony Raiders in the final week of competition on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, as both teams gear up for the All Island meet on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The Raiders beat the St. John Knights with Tydus Baker’s 315 set followed by Eyan Duenas’s 296. Donggeon Kim was the only Knight in the top four positions as the Raiders closed out with Lyo Sawada in fourth and Brayden Blas in 5th. The Raiders look to avenge their only loss of the season to the Stingrays to share the best record in the league.
In the girls’ competition, the Lady Knights upset the previously undefeated Raiders 15-21.5 to share top honors in the standings. The Raiders Summer Pinaula topped the girls’ squad, but the Knights Olivia Lee, Aeva Sablan, and Meimei Lan took control of 2nd to 4th place. Raider’s Julia Perez managed to slip into 5th place, however, the Knight’s Chloe Laxamana closed out the team’s top four slots in 6th place for the win.

The Lady Stingrays also finished convincingly against the Stars taking all top four posts in their matchup. Aha’ani Sablan was the top bowler in the ladies’ division, followed by teammates Aubreale Charfauros, Akali Takano, and Eliyah Park.
The Lady Knights and Raiders will have another go at it during the last week of competition with the winning team claiming the best season record.
