High scores were abundant during the September edition of the 2024 Budweiser King and Prince of the Lanes, held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Central Lanes Bowling Center. Jeremiah Camacho and Isaiah Macias both secured their first titles of the year.
Camacho delivered eleven consecutive strikes in the championship match, defeating 7th seed Ricky Duenas with a score of 290-213. Throughout the day, Camacho maintained impressive consistency, bowling three consecutive games of 259, which earned him the second seed in the qualifying rounds. In the semi-final match, he bowled a 248 game to eliminate third seed Noah Taimanglo, who had narrowly missed a perfect game in the quarter-finals with a 299 against 4th seed Cisco Uncangco.
Brian Manibusan led the qualifying field, dominated by left-handers, with games of 249, 237, 247, and 245, averaging 244 to edge out Camacho by 12 pins. Taimanglo finished third with a total of 911, followed by Uncangco, Matt Cruz, Ray San Nicolas, Duenas, Chris Simpson, Corey Granillo, and Aaron Elliott, who rounded out the top ten advancing to the elimination rounds.

10th seed Isaiah Macias climbed the ranks in the elimination rounds to win his first Prince title of the year. In his initial elimination match, he edged out 5th seed Jethro Lanuza, then defeated 7th seed Leody Ersando. In the semi-final, he overcame top seed Aron Hernandez before narrowly beating 2nd seed Graig Reyes by four pins. Macias spared a pin seven in the final frame, while Reyes struck in the tenth. With the title within reach, Reyes aimed for a strike with his eleventh shot, but a pocket pin ten thwarted his efforts, leaving him as the runner-up.
Hernandez led the Prince group with an average of 202 pins, while Reyes surged from 27th place after three games to second with a 267 game. EJ Cali, AJ Sarselejo, Jethro Lanuza, Ken Gicos, Leody Ersando, Jesse Quinata, Jaecelyn Espiritu, and Macias all qualified for the elimination rounds.

The next Budweiser King and Prince of the Lanes will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
