The U22 Storm 1st Guam Bowling Championships concluded with Jeremiah Camacho dominating the lanes. Averaging 241 pins per game over the two-day competition, Camacho excelled in each of the four elimination matches. The U22 Champion began the sweet sixteen round with a 238-199 set against 16th seed Aron Hernandez. In the elite eight round, he achieved a 258 game to eliminate 9th seed Naiyah Taimanglo. The final four round saw another strong performance with a 257 game against 4th seed Graig Reyes, culminating in a championship match where he delivered 11 out of 12 strikes to defeat 6th seed Parker Ashland and secure the inaugural title.

Ashland’s journey to the final included victories over 11th seed Dylan Taimanglo in the sweet sixteen 14th seed Matthew Santos in the elite eight by three pins, and a breakout game to dethrone 2nd seed Sean Lee in the final four round 244-217.
Other first-round winners include Santos, who upset 3rd seed and first-day leader Noah Taimanglo by four pins, Reyes who defeated 13th seed Gevon Fernandez, 5th seed Kevin Fejeran, 7th seed Daniel Lee, and 9th seed Naiyah Taimanglo.
Camacho overcame a 41-pin deficit after day one to dominate the qualifying rounds with games of 243, 268, 194, 279, 207, and 259, achieving a six-game total of 1450. Sean Lee finished second by 74 pins, followed by Noah Taimanglo, Graig Reyes, Kevin Fejeran, Parker Ashland, Daniel Lee, Naiyah Taimanglo, Jerome Rivera, Elijah Duenas, Dylan Taimanglo, Eriana Ada, Gevon Fernandez, Matthew Santos, Jayden Flores, and Aron Hernandez.
In the U15 division, Aubreale Charfauros utilized her handicap advantage to claim the title and trophy in a close match against 3rd seed Tydus Baker. For her efforts, Charfauros was awarded the U15 championship trophy, a high-end bowling ball, and a bowling bag.

Charfauros’ path to the title included defeating top seed Riel Brantley in the opening match. In the final four round, she and Eyan Duenas went into a tiebreaker after finishing with identical scores of 169. In the one-frame tiebreaker, Charfauros knocked down 9 pins against Duenas’ 7 to advance to the final match. Baker defeated 7th seed Sylas Mandapat in the other semi-final match to advance to the final.
Brantley and Lucas Leaptrot led the U15 field with identical totals of 1164, followed by Baker, Jaden Milan, Duenas, Ayden Buentipo, Mandapat, and Charfauros, who rounded off the top 8 qualifiers for the elimination rounds.

Trophies and prizes were awarded to the top three finishers, with lucky draws courtesy of Storm Products, Inc. and Pin Point Guam. The travel voucher was won by Sylas Mandapat who will represent the island in a U22 event in 2025. Spectators also enjoyed lucky draws with several winning bowling balls, bags, and accessories.
