The 2025 IIAAG Middle School Bowling League wrapped up it’s season with the top 6 teams gathering Tuesday afternoon at Central Lanes for their all-island team championships.
After a short 5 week season, all the marbles were on the line with the SIFA Manta Rays girl’s team entering the event as a top seed and the mighty St Anthony Middle School Raiders setting the standard as the team to beat in the boys division.

The Raider boy’s team continued their dominance and finished their match play undefeated to win the first ever bakers team format championship.
The girls’ division witnessed an upset victory with the third seed Domincan Catholic School Veritas defeating the top seed SIFA Manta Rays 2-0 in match play to win the championship.
The Raiders took down the Andersen Dragons in match play 2-0, anchored by all-island individual champion Lyo Sawada. The Dragons had a chance to win the first game in a best of three game format but dropped the first match 167-166.
St Anthony took off early in match two, with the team of four players combining for a turkey in the front end of the game to win the second match convincingly.

The Veritas came out hot early in their championship match play and won the first game by 30 pins. SIFA started the second game off early and took an early lead.
The Veritas answered with three strikes in a row in the 6th, 7th, and 8th frames to pull ahead for good.
The season ends for middle school bowling, and this is the first time the new baker format has been introduced. The two-day all-island tournament featured the individual championships on Monday and the bakers team event on Tuesday. A total of 140 players participated in the league.
