Sunday, September 22, 2025 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

The pins didn’t stand a chance.
Day two of the U22 Storm Guam Championships was a spectacle of strikes, surprises, and sensational comebacks as Jeremiah Camacho carved his name deeper into Guam’s bowling legacy with electrifying performances that had the crowd roaring.
Jeremiah Camacho came into the elimination rounds locked in and laser-focused. After qualifying second with a blistering scratch total of 1468 (244 average), he unleashed a jaw-dropping 15-strike barrage—including a perfect 300 game against Jaden Milan—to kick off the day. That marked his 19th career 300 and continued his reign as the U22 division’s strike king.
Camacho’s momentum didn’t stop there. He edged past 16th seed Hadrian Abad in a nail-biting round two—Abad had earlier stunned the field by eliminating top seed Rafael de Guzman. In the semis, Camacho fired off 11 strikes for a 280 game against Elijah Duenas before sealing his back-to-back title run with a commanding win over the fiery 10th seed Kamilah Leones in the championship match.
Kamilah Leones was the breakout story of the tournament. Starting in 21st place after day one, she clawed her way to 10th to secure a spot in the top 16. From there, she went on a tear—toppling 7th seed Jayden Flores, edging past 8th seed Aaron Cunanan, and outdueling 6th seed Naiyah Taimanglo to earn her place in the final showdown.
Rafael de Guzman led the six-game qualifying rounds with a handicapped total of 1529, followed by Camacho, Ayden Buentipo, Kaleb Santos, Christof Pineda, Naiyah Taimanglo, Jayden Flores, Aaron Cunanan, Ezekiel Gatan, Kamilah Leones, Noah Tano, Dylan Murray, Dominic Cruz, Elijah Duenas, Jaden Milan, and Hadrian Abad—all advancing to the elimination bracket.

In the U15 division, Aubreale Charfauros proved unstoppable once again. The top seed stormed through the bracket, defeating Xavier Quinata, Ella Dela Cruz, Drake Cruz, and finally 2nd seed Eyan Duenas in the championship match to clinch her second consecutive title. Duenas earned his finals berth with wins over Dylan Cruz, Ethan Domingo, and Koa Ada in a strong run of his own.
The talented U15 top 16 included Charfauros, Duenas, Aha’ani Sablan, Nathan Caasi, Koa Ada, Kohen Gicos, Lyo Sawada, Summer Pinaula, Roen Abaya, Drake Cruz, Sylas Mandapat, Shayden Bukikosa, Ethan Domingo, Ella Dela Cruz, Dylan Cruz, and Xavier Quinata.

The event was elevated by the presence of Storm Products Inc. International Technical Representative and five-time US Open Eagle champion Matt McNiel, alongside U22 Coaching Consultancy Director Mervyn Foo. Their insights and encouragement added a professional edge to the youth-driven excitement.
Top finishers in each division were awarded prizes, with a special honor going to Camacho for his perfect game courtesy of PinPoint Guam Bowling Pro Shop. Spectators weren’t left out—Guam Bowling President Joey Miranda III and Secretary-General Jay Leon Guerrero raffled off bowling goodies throughout the weekend.
And the excitement doesn’t end here: the launch of the U22 Guam Monthly Tournament was officially announced, kicking off this October 2025!
