Tuesday, October 14, 2025 – Central Lanes Bowling Center, Tamuning, Guam

The JFK Islanders girls bowling team delivered a thrilling performance in the final week of the ISA High Schools Bowling League, clinching the top seed for the upcoming All Island Bakers Team showdown on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Led by standout anchor Charlie Cabarles, the Islanders’ quartet—Anna Rice, Teanlay Mesa, and Isabella Santos—ignited the lanes, surging past the competition at the halfway mark. Their comeback effort sliced into Southern High’s early lead and sealed their place at the top of the leaderboard heading into the finale.

Southern High’s Dolphins, featuring Crystel Abad, Cyrish Abad, Amira Madrelino, and Gabrielle Perez, held their own with a strong finish, outpacing the Okkodo Bulldogs team of Shaylene Navarro, Anne Nicole Leonardo, Janeesha Concepcion, and Jacklyn Cuchapin. In a nail-biting twist, the Bulldogs edged out JFK’s second team—Camille Franco, Khloe Shimizu, Althea Arreglado, and Selina Lee Torres—by just a single pin, adding a dramatic flair to the final standings.
With the regular season wrapped, all eyes now turn to the All Island Singles Championship on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, where the top 24 bowlers will battle for individual glory. The action kicks off at 3:30 p.m. at Central Lanes Bowling Center.
Come cheer on Guam’s rising stars as they roll for the title and showcase the spirit, skill, and sportsmanship that define our island’s youth bowling scene!
