Cougars Dominate Opening Week of 2025 IIAAG High School Bowling League Team Baker’s Competition

The 2025 IIAAG High School Bowling League roared to life on Tuesday, November 18, at Central Lanes Bowling Center, where the AOLG Cougars made a powerful statement in the opening week of the Team Baker’s competition. The dynamic quartet of Summer Pinaula, Aha’ani Sablan, Alexia Delfin, and Maia Palomo lit up the lanes with poise, launching their eight-game Baker’s set with a commanding 187 opener—and never looked back. Their consistency and teamwork propelled them to a stunning 150-pin victory, setting the tone for the season ahead.

Hot on their heels, the HCA Eagles squad of Charmaine Tyquiengco, Rebecca Xu, Isabella Galsim, and Rennie Choi battled fiercely to secure second place, showcasing grit and determination throughout the match. The Cougars’ second lineup—Raya Benitez, Kristine Lanuza, Rylee Fajardo, and Khloe Mindo—delivered a strong performance to finish third.

Eagles bowlers Annabella Laguana, Tina Lin, Angie Zhang, and Zimo Feng held their own in a competitive field and claimed fourth place.

The SJS Knights team of Olivia Lee, Kristin Capati, Seah Lee, and Ryza Capati rounded out the top five, followed closely by the CTECH Siheks group of Jochelle Tedtaotao, Caylene Babauta, Pioleani Aguon, and Joyme Roberts in sixth—both teams showing promise and potential as the season unfolds.

The excitement continues as the league shifts gears for the Boys’ Singles event, scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Fans and families are encouraged to come out and support these rising stars as they aim to strike gold in the next round of competition!
