Uncangco, De Guzman clip top seeds for February titles

Sunday, February 22, 2026 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

IT&E King of the Lanes February 2026 Cisco Uncangco.

Cisco Uncangco and De Guzman delivered clutch, crowd‑pleasing performances on Sunday at the Central Lanes Bowling Center, securing their coveted spots in the 2026 year-end Grand Finals after conquering the February edition of the IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes.

Uncangco entered the stepladder finals as the No. 2 seed behind top qualifier RJ Santos, setting the stage for a high-powered lefty-versus-lefty showdown. Santos opened the door early with a costly split, and Uncangco seized the moment—stringing a mid-game turkey and maintaining control throughout the match. A decisive strike in the 10th frame sealed the championship and his ticket to the Grand Finals. Santos reached the final after eliminating 7th seed Houston Martin, while Uncangco advanced by stopping 9th seed Aaron Elliott. Earlier in the day, Martin denied 10th seed Jevin Espiritu a semifinal berth, and Elliott edged 8th seed Jay Leon Guerrero by just two pins. Round one delivered its own drama as Martin needed an extra ball to slip past 6th seed Dave Cruz by a single pin, Espiritu ousted 5th seed Darien Borja, Elliott toppled 3rd seed Christof Pineda, and Leon Guerrero defeated 4th seed Ricky Duenas.

Santos’ qualifying performance was electric, firing a 258 finale to surge into the top position with a 792 series on the demanding 41’ pattern. Uncangco followed closely with 767, with Pineda, Duenas, Borja, Cruz, Martin, Leon Guerrero, Elliott, and Espiritu rounding out the top ten.

In the Prince division, De Guzman wasted no time asserting control over top seed Jaeceline Espiritu, jumping ahead early and powering through to a commanding championship victory. Espiritu advanced to the final after defeating 7th seed Naiyah Taimanglo, while De Guzman earned his spot by dispatching 8th seed Lisa Duenas in the semifinals.

Quarterfinal highlights included Taimanglo cruising past 5th seed Nixon Caasi and Duenas eliminating 9th seed Jethro Lanuza. The opening elimination round added even more excitement as Caasi topped 10th seed Jimmy Pinaula—who had earlier survived a one-ball roll-off against Gevon Fernandez—Taimanglo ousted 6th seed Austin Cajigal, Lanuza edged 3rd seed Michael Duenas by a single pin, and Duenas eliminated 4th seed Aubrielle Charfauros. Espiritu led the Prince qualifiers earlier in the day, followed by De Guzman, Duenas, Charfauros, Caasi, Cajigal, Taimanglo, Duenas, Lanuza, Pinaula, and Fernandez.

The next IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes tournament rolls out on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., once again at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
