Eya Salandanan claimer her second Triple J Guam youth title of 2017 in convincing fashion. Top seed Salandanan ousted Darien Borja in the monthly finals via a 209-172 scratch set. While Salandanan waited for her monthly finals challenger, 4th seed Borja worked through the quarterfinal and semifinal round to face off with the top seed. In the quarterfinals, Borja edged out 3rd seed Jared Petrus then doused 2nd seed Frank Manibusan Jr in the semi-finals before succumbing to Salandanan.
With three-quarters of the monthly qualifiers completed, Noah Taimanglo leads the points table followed by Jeremiah Camacho, Annastashia Leon Guerrero, Naiyah Taimanglo, Merygrace Hernandez, Evan Duenas, Eya Salandanan, Frank Manibusan Jr. James Doyle and Sebastiane Loyola rounds off the top ten. The grand finale will be held on December 3, 2017 at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
The next Triple J Guam Youth Bowler of the month will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
