Taimanglo retains monthly youth title

Sunday, October 7, 2019 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

Noah Taimanglo lorded over the lanes to win back to back monthly youth titles as he defeated 3^rd seed Elijah Duenas 232-176 in the final match. Taimanglo led the field during the qualifying rounds with an 845-set averaging 204 pins per game then continued his dominant form in the finals.

Duenas beat out 2^nd seed Frank Manibusan Jr. in the semi-final round using his handicap advantage 178+56 to 179+13 and defeated 4^th seed Josiah Lanuza in the quarter final round 138+56 to 159+25 which eventually set up the final match up against Taimanglo.

Manibusan was sixty sticks behind Taimanglo in the four-game qualifier held earlier in the day as Duenas was twenty pins adrift. Lanuza finished in four with a 762-total followed by Walfred Adonay, Claricelle Aniceto, Bryce Jacosalem and Evan Duenas.

The next Pin Point Guam Youth Bowler of the month will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
