JFK Islanders boys bowling team took the top five posts during week three of the IIAAG High School Bowling League hosted at the Central Lanes Bowling Center against the Guam Adventist Academy Angels to put their team atop the leader board with a 3-0 record.
Islanders’ Andrei Tala edged out teammates Micaiah Benton and Tristan Adonay while Rysui Santos and Logan Wood capped the sweep tallying a perfect 10 points. Adonay bowled a high game of 199 to start off JFK’s push during the first of two games. Israel Poppe was the top finisher for the Angels placing sixth overall in the contest. JFK’s Brandon Benavente, Hunter Wood, and Zyler Oplado rounded off the placement from 7th to 9th ahead of the Angel’s group of Don Lloyd, Trevaine Stephen, Darius Jano-Edward and Anthony Lee.
