Sunday, October 25, 2026 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

Aaron Elliott

The October 2026 edition of the IT&E King of the Lanes concluded with a thrilling championship showdown between two seasoned veterans who successfully navigated a talented field of younger competitors on the challenging 35-foot short oil pattern. Experience proved to be the deciding factor as Aaron Elliott and Ricky Duenas advanced to the monthly championship match.

Duenas opened the title match strongly with a double to establish an early advantage. However, a costly 4-9 split in the third frame shifted the momentum in Elliott’s favor. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Elliott remained composed throughout the remainder of the match, posting a steady 206 game to defeat Duenas’ 192 and capture his first King of the Lanes title of the year.

Both finalists earned their championship berths with impressive semifinal victories over the tournament’s top two qualifiers. Duenas eliminated top seed RJ Santos, 190-170, while Elliott dominated second-seeded Houston Martin, 221-138. In the quarterfinal round, sixth-seeded Duenas delivered one of the most impressive performances of the day, rolling a 252-138 victory over tenth-seeded Cameron Santos. Meanwhile, ninth-seeded Elliott advanced past eighth seed Charlie Catbagan to continue his championship run.

Naiyah Taimanglo

Santos led the qualifying round with an outstanding four-game total of 881 pins, finishing 125 pins ahead of the field. Martin secured the second seed, followed by Jevin Espiritu, Jaden Milan, Matthew Cruz, Duenas, Dominic Cruz, Catbagan, Elliott, and Cameron Santos, who rounded out the top ten qualifiers advancing to the elimination rounds.

In the Prince Division, Naiyah Taimanglo earned her first monthly title of the year with a commanding victory over fourth-seeded Aubereale Charfauros in the championship match. Taimanglo advanced to the finals after defeating sixth-seeded and back-to-back defending monthly champion Roen Abaya in the semifinals. Charfauros secured his place in the title match by ending the championship aspirations of second-seeded Eric Asanoma, who was seeking his first monthly crown.

Taimanglo also led the Prince Division qualifying standings with a four-game scratch total of 782 pins. She was followed by Asanoma, Hairo Abad, Aurielle Charfauros, Nathan Caasi, Abaya, Ayden Buentipo, Hadrian Abad, Lyo Sawada, and Eddy San Nicolas, who claimed the final qualifying spot after defeating Ethan Alegre in a one-ball roll-off for tenth place. The next IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes tournament is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Central Lanes Bowling Center, with competition set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
