Sunday, October 17, 2016 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam
With a 1410 set, Gregory Borja catapulted himself to second place with an aggregate average of 213 pins per game. Idle Michael Gadia remains in pole position with a 216 average. Overall, the day was filled with high sets. Victor San Nicolas turned in a 1243 set for a 207 average followed by Ray San Nicolas’s 1255 set for a 202 average. Jay Leon Guerrero occupies fifth place with a 201 average as Zayne Zamora takes sixth with 200 pins per game. Dante Godoy, Timothy Nauta, Jeremiah Camacho and Ricky Duenas round off the top ten after two days of qualifying. Arlene Reyes tops the ladies division followed by Kathy Mandapat and Shannon Bukikosa.
Both divisions require averages to be met to qualify for the team. The next qualifying round will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center. The scheduled lane pattern will be the Stockholm 34’ short oil.
