Annastashia Leon Guerrero won her second youth bowler of the month title by upending 4th seed Jared Petrus in the monthly finals held at the Central Lanes Bowling Center. Leon Guerrero kept her composure during the opening stanza of the finals match as Petrus took an early lead and looked as if he would finally win his first title. However, several errors mid game by Petrus coupled by Leon Guerrero’s consistent sparing of the pin ten sealed the victory for the 11 year old competitor.
Petrus reached the final round by eliminating 3rd seed Xander Borja in the first round followed by a semi-final round win over 2nd seed Sebastian Loyola.
Leon Guerrero led all competitors after the four games qualifier with a total score of 849 pins including handicap. Loyola finished 50 pins behind followed by Borja and Petrus. Jarwin Espiritu missed by the step ladder cut by a single pin finishing in 5th place. Noah Taimanglo, Frank Manibusan Jr., Jeremiah Camacho, defending champion Evan Duenas and Eya Salandanan rounded off the top 10.
