Noah Taimanglo took home the February 2018 Triple J Guam Youth Bowler of the month title after edging out all his opponents in the step-ladder matches. Taimanglo slipped past 4th seed Josiah Lanuza 201 to 162+36, then beat his sister, Naiyah Taimanglo, in the semi-final round 210 to 144+39 before narrowly defeating top seed Jared Petrus in the monthly finals 196 to 170+24 to claim the title and a spot in the year end grand finals.
Petrus finished the four-game qualifier in pole position with a 900-total followed by Naiyah Taimanglo, Noah Taimanglo, Lanuza, Jeremiah Camacho, Jaeceline Espiritu, Evan Duenas, Annastashia Leon Guerrero, Trinity Nalundasan and Frank Manibusan Jr. who rounded off the top ten.
The next 2018 Triple J Guam Youth Bowler of the Month will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
