After a slow start, 3rd seed Claricel Aniceto won her maiden youth title by defeating her counterpart Josiah Lanuza in the monthly finals of the Pin Point Guam Youth Bowler of the month. Lanuza who qualified pole position after the qualifying rounds held earlier in the day, was unable to pull traction throughout the final match succumbing to the handicapping advantage of Aniceto.
In the earlier rounds Aniceto slipped past 2nd seed Frank Manibusan Jr. by a pin after Manibusan failed to convert a 3-6-10 leave in the final stanza after taking out 4th seed Philip Lopez in the first match.
The next Pin Point Guam Youth Bowler of the month will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
