The Guam Adventist Academy Angels and Guahan Academy Charter School Stars split their matches during the IIAAG High School Bowling League held on Monday, March 28, 2023 at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
The Stars’ Anaia Quenga bowled the highest two-game set in the girl’s division, but the Angels team of six bowlers took spots two to seven to continue their undefeated streak with a 14-28 victory. Jasmine Lee bowled the highest game to lead the Angels, followed by Jasmina Tkalec, Leanne Losongco, and MayJay Patis for their four-player tally.
Stars’ Jayden Flores dominated the boy’s field for the second week in a row to help his team stay undefeated after two weeks with a 301 series. His teammates all followed suit dominating the match with Shawn Estella in second, Josiah Carlos finishing third, and Ethyn Hernandez tying Angel’s Trevaine Stephen for the fourth spot. The 10.5-to-25.5-win places the Star’s on top of the standing sheet as the remaining teams battle on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
