The St. Paul Christian School Warriors flew past the Guam Adventist Academy Angels during the fourth week of the IIAAG High School Bowling competition held at the Central Lanes Bowling Center. The Warrior boys took the first eight positions in the match up led by the hot hands of Christian Diala. Nicolas Delin, Michael Pono, John Wilson, Miles Perez, Colin Perez, Sean Bailey and Caleb Goto followed suit to grab a perfect ten points for the day. Israel Poppe was the highest finisher for the Angels landing in nineth place.

In the girls’ division, the Angels put up a great fight as Charlotte Oh led all bowlers with a 284 set and registered her personal best of 152 pins during the second game of the set. However, the Warriors were able to squeeze in a balanced attack finishing with a tie for second place between Maddie Acda and Xerya Anderson, while Phoebe Perez edged the Angel’s Jasmina Tkalec and Leanne Losongco by one stick to claim the match 17-19. Action continues Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Central Lanes Bowling Center as Guahan Academy Charter School competes against Harvest Christian School; Father Duenas Memorial School takes on John F. Kennedy High School for the sole possession of first place, and Academy of Our Lady goes up against the Lady Islanders.
