Camacho, Caasi delivers thrilling finishes

Sunday, April 26, 2026 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

IT&E April 2026 King Champion Jeremiah Camacho

The latest edition of the IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes Monthly Championship brought intensity, surprises, and clutch performances as competitors battled through a demanding lane condition at Central Lanes. Only three bowlers in the entire field managed to average 200 or better across the four‑game qualifier, setting the stage for a gritty and unpredictable showdown.

Martin Houston topped the King division qualifiers with an 821 set, followed closely by Ray San Nicolas and Joonsung Park. Just seven pins back were Elijah Duenas and Jeremiah Camacho, with Maria Wood three pins behind them. Daniel Lee, Jaden Milan, RJ Santos, and Erwin Aguilar completed the top ten advancing to the elimination rounds.

Round one delivered immediate fireworks. Fifth seed Camacho edged 10th seed Aguilar by five pins, while 6th seed Wood stunned 7th seed Lee. Ninth seed Santos slipped past 3rd seed Park by three pins, and 8th seed Milan eliminated 4th seed Duenas in a tight two‑mark decision.

The quarterfinals continued the trend of upsets as Camacho ousted Wood and Santos knocked out Milan—both matches decided by five marks. In the semifinals, Camacho halted top seed Houston’s bid for his first King title, while Santos overpowered 2nd seed San Nicolas to set up a high‑energy finale.

The championship match opened with Camacho firing a four‑bagger, but mid‑game struggles allowed Santos to close the gap. With the match still within reach, Camacho delivered a pocket hit, leaving a single pin which he spared to secure the victory by seven pins and punch his ticket to the year‑end finals.

IT&E April 2026 Prince Champion Nathan Caasi

In the Prince division, Gina San Nicolas led the qualifiers by seven pins over Nathan Caasi and twelve over Aubrielle Charfauros. Sheila Bangs claimed fourth place, followed by Sean Ada, Juliana Lagman, Rose Hernandez, Rafael De Guzman, Austin Cajigal, and Alex Santiago rounding out the top ten.

The opening elimination round saw Charfauros defeat Cajigal, Bangs topple De Guzman, Lagman oust Hernandez, and 10th seed Santiago deliver the biggest upset of the round by eliminating 5th seed Ada.

Santiago continued his impressive run by defeating Lagman by 13 pins, while Bangs edged Charfauros by seven to advance to the semifinals. The top seeds held strong from there—San Nicolas outlasted Santiago by eleven pins, and Caasi slipped past Bangs by two marks to set up a 1‑vs‑2 championship match.

In the finale, Caasi maintained his momentum and closed out the match with a confident fifteen‑pin victory, securing the Prince of the Lanes title and a coveted spot in the year‑end grand finals.

The next IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes Monthly Championship will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
