The powerhouse squad of Zabria Cabungcal, Chanel Medina, Ronica Fortillas, and Beth Mendiola delivered a clutch performance to finish on top of the Team Bakers event, edging out the Lady Islanders by five marks in a nail‑biting showdown.
The Lady Islanders — featuring Tina Lin, Anna Rice, Althea Arreglado, and Eliya Park — kept the pressure high all afternoon, trading momentum with the Bulldogs frame after frame. But when the dust settled, Okkodo’s late‑game consistency proved too strong to overcome.
The battle for third was just as intense. The Dolphins, led by Marietta Duenas, Crystel Abad, Victoria Fejeran, and Chenna Cristales, held their ground to finish three marks behind the Islanders and two marks ahead of the Sharks. Then on Thursday, October 15, the excitement continues with the All‑Island Team Championship, contested in the always‑thrilling Bakers Team format — where teamwork, timing, and nerves of steel decide everything.
