In an election held at Century Plaza Bowling Center on February 19, 2017, the general membership of the Guam Senior Bowlers Federation, elected its Board of Directors for the 2017-2018 bowling season. The Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse group of senior bowlers age 50 and above which the membership believe will advance senior bowling into the 21st century. Directors include senior executives of GovGuam the federal government and private sector as well as law enforcement and military retirees. The Board also includes non-career members who are merely avid bowlers. Elected were: John Salas, President; Ray Manibusan, 1st Vice President; Enrique (Rick) Torres, 2nd Vice President; Anicito (Jun) Infante, Treasurer; Felice Meeks, Secretary Pro-Temp; Buddy Saludo, Auditor Pro-Temp, Jose Cepeda, Sargent-at-Arms; and five Board of Directors: Joseph (Joe) Pangelinan, Enrique (Rick) Muna, Teresita (Terry) Roberto, Gabriel (Gabe) Mansapit, and Jimmy Pinaula.
The Board is developing an aggressive program to increase its membership and promote bowling as a healthy life-style through league participation, innovative intra-club competitions, as well as international competition.
