Aaron Elliott and JD Castro represented Guam in the recently completed Budweiser Saipan Memorial Day Championship. The annual bowling event is held during the Memorial Day Weekend at the Saipan Bowling Center. This year’s event was held from May 26-28, 2017. Elliott claimed hardware after winning the Masters events of Championships. Elliott took an early lead in the 12 game masters event and never looked back to take home the $750 cash prize and the first place trophy. Castro finished the event in 7th place.
Earlier in the weekend, Elliott and Castro teamed up with locals Simon Manacop and Alex Castro to bag the first place prize and trophy in the team event.
