Okkodo remains undefeated after week 3

Saturday, April 28, 2018 – CENTRAL LANES BOWLING CENTER, Tamuning, Guam

Okkodo Bulldogs remained undefeated after three weeks of competition in the Guam High Schools Bowling League.  Both male and female teams defeated their counterparts in convincing fashion.  In the boys’ division, Jeremiah Camacho led all bowlers with a two-game set of 494 pins along with a season tying high game 279.  The girls were led by Jaecelyn Espiritu’s 412 set along with a high game of 211.

The team standings in both division remained unchanged as the combined team of Tiyan and George Washington High School, Father Duenas Memorial and Notre Dame High School and John F. Kennedy High School rounds off the top four.  Okkodo Bulldogs B and Notre Dame High School finish the week for the girl’s division in order.

Camacho took over the season high two-games set with his 494 performance averaging 247 pins per game dropping Noah Taimanglo to second with 462 pins.  Frank Manibusan Jr, Bryce Jacosalem and Jarwin Espiritu round off the top 5 sets for the season. 

Camacho’s 279 game ties Manibusan for the season high game followed by Taimanglo, Sebastian Loyola and Jacosalem.

Espiritu continues her dominating performance with a 412 set atop a pair of Tiyan High School competitors Ajia and Alanna Fegurgur.  Notre Dame’s Louise Crisostomo and Mackenzi Mendiola currently sits in fourth and fifth respectively.  Espiritu also tops the high game category with a score of 220 pins followed by Ajia and Alanna Fegurgur, Roseannalyn Canlas of Okkodo and Carmen Gogue of Notre Dame.

The 2018 Guam High Schools Bowling League continues on Saturday, May 5, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
