Fourth seed Cesar Villanueva captured his first IT&E King of the Lanes title after edging 10th seed Houston Martin in a thrilling monthly finals match marked by multiple lead changes throughout the ten frames. Martin opened with a first‑frame error but quickly recovered, doubling to take a slim lead after a Villanueva miss in the third. Villanueva steadily closed the gap, pulling within four pins midway through the match before seizing control with a timely double. Martin’s missed split conversions widened the margin, though he responded with a double of his own to stay within reach. Needing a strike on his eleventh shot to keep his title hopes alive, Martin’s ball drove high into the headpin, leaving six pins standing and sealing Villanueva’s path to victory.
Villanueva’s run through the elimination rounds was dominant. He opened by defeating 8th seed Darien Borja by 52 pins, then dispatched 9th seed Cisco Uncangco by 24 pins in the quarterfinals before overpowering second seed Ray San Nicolas by 41 pins in the semifinals. Martin also delivered an impressive performance throughout match play, edging 5th seed Corey Granillo by 10 pins in Round 1, then defeating 6th seed Aaron Elliott by 34 pins in the quarterfinals before eliminating top seed Matthew Cruz by 29 pins in the semifinals. Earlier in the day, Cruz led all bowlers in the four‑game qualifier with a 218 average, followed by San Nicolas, 21 pins behind. Sean Lee finished third, with Villanueva and Granillo tied for fourth. Elliott, Santos, Borja, Uncangco, and Martin rounded out the top ten who advanced to the elimination rounds.

In the IT&E Prince of the Lanes division, the finale featured a showdown between the champions of the IIAAG Middle School Bowling League All‑Island competition. Top seed Nathan Caasi opened the championship match with a turkey, immediately erasing the 23‑pin handicap advantage held by second seed Aubreale Charfauros. However, back‑to‑back missed spares by Caasi allowed Charfauros to regain momentum. The 14‑year‑old delivered a clean and composed game, finishing just one pin behind Caasi scratch but securing the overall victory through her handicap advantage. The win marked Charfauros’ first career monthly title, informally renaming the event the Princess of the Lanes. Charfauros reached the final by edging 9th seed Naiyah Taimanglo by three pins, while Caasi advanced by defeating 7th seed Dylan Cruz in the other semifinal.
Caasi dominated the four‑game youth qualifier with an outstanding 895 series, rolling games of 193, 251, 242, and 210 for a 224 average — the highest of both divisions. Charfauros finished 92 pins behind, followed by Zayne Ayongco, Austin Cajigal, Lyo Sawada, Alex Santiago, Dylan Cruz, Xavier Quinata, Taimanglo, and Amber San Nicolas.
The next IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes event will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
