Villanueva Claims First Monthly Back‑to‑Back 2026 King Titles, Duenas earns Princess title

Cesar Villanueva IT&E King of the Lanes May & June 2026

Tamuning, Guam – June 21, 2026 — The IT&E King and Prince of the Lanes monthly finals concluded with an electrifying finish at Central Lanes Bowling Center, where Cesar Villanueva captured consecutive monthly King titles — marking the first back‑to‑back crown of the year.

Villanueva, who first claimed the throne in May, delivered another commanding performance throughout the June elimination rounds. He earned pole position during the afternoon qualifiers with a 900 total, averaging 225 pins per game, before storming through the bracket. In the semifinals, Villanueva overpowered fifth seed RJ Santos 243‑176, then out‑struck third seed Miya Greene in the championship match to seal his second straight title.

Greene, 20, advanced to the monthly finals after finishing third in qualifying. She ousted National Youth teammate Ezekiel Gatan in Round 1 and eighth seed Preston Wilkinson in Round 2. In the semifinals, Greene turned the tables on second seed and fellow National Youth teammate Eyan Duenas, stringing a turkey in the foundation and tenth frames to edge Duenas by just a couple of pins after trailing most of the match. Duenas’ tenth‑frame 1‑2‑4‑6‑10 leave proved decisive in the outcome.

The King division top ten qualifiers were Villanueva, Duenas, Greene, Joonsung Park, Santos, Erwin Aguilar, Cisco Uncangco, Wilkinson, Gatan, and Curtis Richmond.

In the Prince division, Lisa Duenas earned the Princess of the Lanes title after a strong showing in the bracket. Duenas broke through top seed Nathan Caasi’s early scoring pace as the 14‑year‑old struggled to find rhythm in the final match. Capitalizing on a pair of open frames, Duenas maintained steady control to earn her first title of the year.

Caasi advanced to the finals after edging fifth seed John Fejeran, while Duenas defeated eighth seed Aubrielle Charfauros in her semifinal. Fejeran eliminated sixth seed Syler Torres and seventh seed Aiden Kim, while Charfauros edged ninth seed Hadrian Abad and fourth seed Sheila Bangs to reach the semis.

The Prince division top ten qualifiers were Caasi, Duenas, Xavier Quinata, Bangs, Fejeran, Torres, Kim, Charfauros, Abad, and Ayden Buentipo.

The event, proudly presented by IT&E – Connections that Matter, continues to spotlight Guam’s growing bowling community and its commitment to nurturing local talent.  The next monthly King and Prince of the Lanes will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lanes Bowling Center.
