Cisco Uncangco turned the August edition of the IT&E 2026 King and Prince of the Lanes into his personal showcase, powering through the field as the top seed to secure his second crown of the year. In the championship match, Uncangco came out firing with a smooth turkey to set the tone, while challenger Ray San Nicolas answered with a double in the third and fourth frames to keep things tight early. But once Uncangco found his rhythm, the strikes kept pouring in. After San Nicolas’ costly pin‑four miss, Uncangco slammed the door shut, rolling to a commanding 232–178 victory and another monthly title.
To reach the finals, Uncangco stopped 7th seed RJ Santos, while 2nd seed San Nicolas took out 8th seed Dominic Cruz in the semis. Santos had been red‑hot all afternoon, cruising through his first two matches with games of 216 and 221 to eliminate 10th seed Erwin Aguilar and 6th seed Cameron Santos. Cruz also made noise, blasting 236 and 234 to move past the father‑and‑son duo of Ricky and Eyan Duenas.
Uncangco’s consistency was on full display, averaging 222 pins per game and topping the four‑game qualifier with an 888 series, just one mark ahead of San Nicolas. Jay Leon Guerrero followed in third, with Ricky Duenas, Maria Wood, Cameron Santos, RJ Santos, Dominic Cruz, Eyan Duenas, and Erwin Aguilar rounding out the top ten.
In the Prince division, Roen Abaya delivered a breakout performance, capturing his first IT&E 2026 Prince of the Lanes title with a clutch, electrifying finish. Abaya strung three strikes in a row in the closing frames, flipping the match on its head to upend 4th seed Sean Ada 192+22 to 175+30. Abaya seized the lead early and held off Ada’s late push to seal the win.
Abaya’s path to the throne was nothing short of dramatic. He surged past top seed Ayden Buentipo in the semis 201–162, edged 10th seed Lyo Sawada by a single pin 191–190, and opened his campaign by stopping 7th seed Sylar Torres 204–158.
Ada also fought his way into the finals, defeating 2nd seed Eddy San Nicolas in the semis and earlier taking down 9th seed John Fejeran and 3rd seed Naiyah Taimanglo.
Buentipo led the Prince qualifiers, followed by Eddy San Nicolas, Naiyah Taimanglo, Sean Ada, Hadrian Abad, Sylar Torres, Roen Abaya, Nathan Caasi, John Fejeran, and Lyo Sawada.
